Follow the workbook
The kid workbook introduces one skill through a five-day routine and tells your child exactly when to use the app.
Short lessons for kids. Practical support for parents.
Five short lessons each week help your child notice what they feel, pause, and choose what to do next. The kid workbook leads each lesson and prompts your child to open the app for stories, teaching, activities, and quizzes. The parent guide helps you carry each skill into daily life.
$25/month or $200/year for up to four kids. Cancel before your next renewal.
Big emotions are not the problem
You may know exactly what you want your child to learn. Explaining it in the middle of a hard moment is another matter. EQ Ninjas gives kids a chance to practice first, while things are calm. The parent guide shows you what they're learning and how to follow up at home.
How EQ Ninjas works
Choose a child profile, follow one workbook day, open the app when prompted, and use the matching parent guide to continue the conversation at home.
The kid workbook introduces one skill through a five-day routine and tells your child exactly when to use the app.
The app reads stories, teaching, activity instructions, quiz questions, answer choices, and feedback aloud. Each profile keeps its own lesson, belt, and badge progress.
The matching parent guide explains what your child is practicing and gives you questions and language to use at home.
Inside your family plan
Each module gives your child a workbook-led path to learn, practice, and revisit one skill. Prompts send them to the app for stories, teaching, activities, and quizzes, while the matching parent guide helps you follow along.
Your child practices noticing what is happening and choosing one useful next step. Belts and badges make that practice visible along the way.
Designed mainly for ages 6 to 12. Some younger or older children may be a good fit, too.
For homeschool families
Homeschool families can use the five-day sequence as a full-year curriculum. Other families can complete the same lessons before school, after school, or whenever they fit.
Print the kid workbook and follow its five-day sequence. It tells your child when to open the app for a story, teaching segment, activity, or quiz. Use the parent guide to follow up at home.
Why I built EQ Ninjas
My doctoral research examined how emotional intelligence develops and how it can be taught. That work was personal for me. I knew what it was like to lose my patience with my kids and wish I had handled the moment differently. I was trying to teach them skills I was still working on myself. I created EQ Ninjas to turn the research into clear, practical lessons children can practice while they are calm and use when emotions run high.

The free 3-3-3 guide
When a hard moment hits, you do not need a long explanation. The 3-3-3 method gives you three simple prompts: notice three things you see, three things you hear, and move three parts of your body.
Print it and keep it nearby so the steps are easy to find when you need them.

Most children between 6 and 12 will be a good fit. That is not a hard cutoff. You know your child best, and some younger or older children may benefit from the program too.
Yes. The app reads stories, teaching, activity instructions, quiz questions, answer choices, and feedback aloud. New readers and children who need reading support will need an adult's help with the printed workbook. Children who read comfortably can usually follow the workbook on their own.

One plan covers up to four children. Parents can request each available belt's kid workbook and matching parent guide through the app for delivery to the email address on file.
